Hello. We are looking at ways that you can position yourself to have collisions of inspiration. If you have no idea what we're talking about, check out our other videos, and you'll probably learn a little bit more about that, I hope. Today we are up to number 4, and that is get distracted. Get distracted.
Let your mind wander. Let your mind go down the weird path that it wants to go down, whether that's you thinking about how Thomas the Tank engines and eyebrows are triangles, and who decided that they should be triangles? Was it just like a little bit of fabric left over that they stuck there? Let yourself go on the weird tangents. Let yourself go there.
I don't know about you, but for me, I always feel like that's a waste of time. I feel like I'm not working and I'm not doing the right thing and that I should actually just get back on task. But what we're doing when we're actually allowing ourselves to get distracted is we're increasing our passive attention. We're increasing those moments where we can allow our environmental things, allow the thoughts in our brain to, position themselves to collide. So get distracted.
Do a puzzle. Do something random that like knitting that doesn't take a lot of effort, but actually allows you to have time to let your mind wander and see what ridiculousness and beautifulness comes out of that. Beautifulness is not a word, but I said it anyway. Bye.
