We are looking at ways that we can position ourselves to have collisions of inspiration. If you have no idea what we're talking about, check out our other videos, and hopefully, you'll learn something. I hope. Today, I wanna give you 4 extra ways that you can position yourself to have those collisions of inspiration. Number 1 is this, learn something new.
Do something that's out of your comfort zone. Learn how to play the guitar or how to knit or how to change a tire. I don't know what it is, but learn something new. When we do that, we increase our neuroplasticity. We allow our brain to be able to make connections easier and position ourselves to be able to be more creative.
Number 2, change your environment. Go on a walk, get lost, try a different route to work. When we put ourselves in a different environment, we're putting ourselves in a different place to have those creative collisions.
Number 3 go be in nature. go to the river or the go to the river, or the beach. Just go be in nature. There was a study done in 2019 that actually told us that when we are in that space, it doesn't just make our mental health, a little bit easier to carry, but it also improves our cognition, which means that our brain is in a position where we can have those collisions.
Number 4, exercise. There was a study done at Stanford that, actually found out that you are 60% more likely to be creative when you are walking than when you are sitting down. If you're like me and you have been putting it off for the last 45 minutes, even though you know that you should have been doing some exercise, this is a really good moment to get up and do something. Peace.
